Surrounded by rolling East Lothian farmland, yet within easy reach of Edinburgh and the region’s spectacular coastline, this beautifully appointed property offers the perfect balance of rural escape and a base for exploring.

Designed to sit naturally within the landscape, the lodge makes the most of its peaceful setting with wide open views and a wonderful connection to the outdoors. French doors open directly onto a private terrace and lawn, creating the perfect spot for a morning coffee, outdoor dining, or simply sitting back and enjoying the view.

Inside, the interiors are calm and elegant, drawing inspiration from the surrounding countryside and the soft colours of the nearby coast. Warm tones, natural textures, wool and linen furnishings, and carefully chosen details create a relaxed yet luxurious home-from-home.

The Space 

A bright open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area forms the heart of the property, designed for easy, sociable stays.

• Living, Dining & Kitchen: Open-plan with a comfortable sitting area and French doors leading onto the terrace with countryside views. The stylish kitchen comes fully equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and Nespresso machine. A dining table seats up to four guests.

• Bedrooms: Two bedrooms sit on either side of the living space, both featuring super king-size zip-and-link beds which can be arranged as doubles or twins. Each bedroom includes a Smart TV and Roberts digital radio.

• Bathrooms: Two elegant en-suites offer underfloor heating, double basins, heated towel rails and luxury toiletries. One features a shower over bath for a little added relaxation, while the other includes a large walk in shower.

• Outside: A private terrace with outdoor seating looks across open farmland and expansive countryside. Guests can enjoy access to grass walking tracks around the surrounding area - perfect for a peaceful morning or evening stroll.

Positioned in the grounds of Fenton Tower, the lodge feels wonderfully secluded while being perfectly placed for exploring East Lothian.

• North Berwick & The Coast (3 Miles): One of Scotland’s most loved seaside towns, home to independent shops, cafés, local producers, beaches, and beautiful coastal walks.

• Food & Drink: Enjoy some of East Lothian’s best restaurants and cafés, from fresh seafood at the Lobster Shack and relaxed dining at The Herringbone, to destination spots including Drift, The Creel and The Bonnie Badger.

• Golf & Outdoors: Take your pick of the world-class golf courses located nearby or any one of the fantastic beaches dotted along East Lothian’s coastline. There are endless walks around East Lothian but from the lodge why not stroll across to Balgone Estate (if you’re there Fri-Sun be sure to head to Herd for a coffee).

• Edinburgh: Scotland’s historic capital is within easy reach for culture, restaurants, shopping, galleries, and memorable day trips.

Private parking is available for two cars.

The lodge includes high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, Bose Bluetooth speaker, Roberts radios, and luxury bathroom amenities.

Bedrooms can be configured as super king doubles or twin rooms depending on your requirements.

The lodge sits within the wider Fenton Tower estate. For larger groups, Fenton Tower and nearby accommodation may also be available to book, subject to availability.
